Torture, smorcher…the Bonester implies it’s all okay in the pursuit of those that were involved with 9-11, which is essentially the same bogus reason Bush used to lie us into the Iraq War. He asks, “After 100 days… Do YOU feel safer?” You bet I do, Mr. Bonehead. We’ve replaced an insecure, narcissistic, belligerent, bellicose, [...]

On the floor of the U.S. House of Representatives, Rep. Virginia Foxx (R-N.C.) Wednesday called the hate crimes bill named after Shepard “a hoax”. This is the same “twisted sister” who less than a month ago accused dems of having a “tar baby” on their hands (Referring to controversial post-TARP Fund bonuses), a term that carries negative racial connotations.

I turned on CNN and there it was…wall to wall swine flu coverage. Dr. Sanjay Gupta trying to quell hysteria, comparing this strain to garden variety flu which kills thousands each year. By comparison, said the good doctor, this isn’t a significant threat–at least yet. The anchors seems deaf to Gupta’s comments, repeating, “Pandemic?”

Today’s texters and tweeters will one-day wind up much like my mother, much like me. I pray that as we frantically try to stay connected, we don’t completely forget why it is we communicate in the first place. As I ponder this, tweet me not. If a tweet flies through the ether and there’s no one there to receive it, does it make an impression?

One of the best guitarists I’ve ever heard is Jeff Beck. So, what? That’s like saying Mohamed Ali was a braggart. But the more I listen to Jeff Beck as I get older, the more amazed I am at what he knew about the instrument and music in general when we were younger.

It seems as though Pennsylvania State researchers, working “assholes and elbows” have developed technology that will transform C02 in the atmosphere into methane. This unconventional development could enhance fuel cell technology.
MSNBC reports,
“It works like this: giving small jolts of electricity to single-celled microorganisms known as archea prompts them to remove C02 from the air and [...]
