Beatle’s Last Stand

It was forty years ago today that the Beatles performed in public for the last time, atop Apple Studios in London, a performance recorded for the “Let it Be” film. Police were called to cease the performance after noise complaints.

Only two Beatles survive, Paul McCartney and Ringo Starr.  Recently, Ringo announced that he will no longer answer fan mail, as he has dutifully done all these years since his encounter with Beatlemania and $$millions$$ of dollars.  Rumors surfaced recently that Paul McCartney would remarry.

If you’re like me, you could care less about either but I do enjoy listening to the Beatles from time to time and still respect what they, along with Brian Epstein and George Martin did to change the face of pop music.
