Yesterday I watched with amazement as Citigroup CEO Vikram Pandit (yes, it rhymes with “bandit”) attempted to shift blame for the incredible, record-setting spate of foreclosures on unresponsive borrowers who failed to actively communicate. This from the same man that tried to buy a luxury company jets DAYS after he begged for taxpayer bailout money as he approved mammoth executive bonuses despite abysmal performance of his managers.
If only we had called Mr. Bandit or his underlings to work out a payment plan, certainly we’d not have witnessed all our earthly possessions piled at the curb. These guys are beyond amazing. They’re simply stupefying. They can make faces melt.
