Like much of the nation, there are no Progressive Radio Stations where I live, in the most densely populated section of Ohio, which is also its State Capitol. Thankfully, I can listen to America Left on XM 167 but rarely do at night, preferring toonz.
But tonight as I cranked up my coach, America Left still on the tuner from earlier in the day, I heard none other than Cenk Uygur, of “The Young Turks,” which last I heard, had been dropped from XM’s line-up. COOL!
Once I got home, I clicked XM’s website to find this:
“Programming Changes on America Left SIRIUS XM is proud to announce some enhancements made to the America Left lineup as of March 16th. As Randi Rhodes is no longer broadcasting her program, we are excited to add the Thom Hartmann Program even earlier, from 3-6PM ET. You’ll also be able to hear former talk-stars of XM, now back on the air again including: Mark Thompson and The Young Turks! As always, if you have a comment or need more information please don’t hesitate to email us at firstname.lastname@example.org”
Check XM 167 from 8-9:00PM. And of course, you can still find them on the web at http://www.theyoungturks.com/
