Conservatives: Obama’s “Smart Politics”

THE BLAME GAME…That’s all it is.

white-finger-pointing

What poses as political analysis these days is beyond belief.  As FOX NEWS chronically conveys  GOP talking points, yesterday its most esteemed Chris (I’m a real newsman, honest!) Wallace focused on Obama’s “smart politics” game, in which he has the wisdom to “blame” Bush for putting the U.S. in the jaws of the beast that currently threatens to devour our writhing nation.

The august panel, led by Chris (I’m a real newsman, honest!) Wallace included noted GOP round mouth Bill Kristol, whose mind-numbing synchronicity with Wallace and the others was pitch-perfect.

Wallace introduced video depicting earlier chastisement of Joe Biden as a “serial exaggerator” by the ever porcine  Karl Rove (long known for choosing the high road), led only to a projection by him of what that would mean were he not so well-intentioned.

Rove’s alter ego, the “The Wild Boar” would indeed take the allegation further. It would paint Mr. Biden a “LIAR”.  But of course, the uber-refined Mr. Piggy is above all that, so he merely speculates for the” The Wild Boar,” offering Joe some helpful advice on lying, which considering its source, we should all heed.  It’s best not to lie, y’all.  Even if you aren’t lying, don’t bow to being a “serial exaggerator,” lest the more judgmental folk among us may consider you a liar.  Clever piggy.

Heaven forbid pointing out what brought us here.  Obama’s recent public observations are reduced to mere political tactics by this asinine characterization.  Forget about the terror that Bush wrought over the past eight years. Ignore the failed policies of an imperial presidency that placed itself and its privileged minions well above the law.

We are to believe that we awoke  New Year’s Day 2009 to a see our once proud nation now a shit bucket.  Blame Barack.

Raw Story writes:

“Obama has noted, in numerous speeches here and overseas, that his administration has inherited the worst economic crisis since the Depression.”

The next clip is a video response from former White House chief of staff, Karl Rove, declaring Biden a liar. “I hate to say this, but he’s a serial exaggerator,” Rove told FOX News. “If I was being unkind I would say liar. But it is a habit he ought to drop.”

A final clip comes from Jeb Bush, who is offering his “humble” criticism of Obama. “Stop this notion of somehow framing everything in the context of, ‘Everything was bad before I got here,’” the former Florida governor told Sean Hannity.”

The clips speak for themselves, so watch them here and form your own opinions or read Raw Story’s account here.

This video is from Fox News’ Fox News Sunday, broadcast Apr. 12, 2009.

This is why I stopped watching Comedy Central, er, Fox Noise.

  2. Paul Sonderman says:

Me, too–except when captive (Waiting in doctor’s office, car repair shop, etc.)

  3. Polycarp says:

I am glad that I am not the only one that noticed that. We visited our midwife and have 5 minutes of watching Karl Rove, I asked if I could change the channel. You would have thought that I just cursed God!
