octo1I recently read that Nadya Suleman, the nefarious fertilization therapy abuser known ubiquitously as the ” Octomom,” who according to recent accounts reportedly landed her own reality show,  is navigating turbulent tides that may imperil the project’s development.  Her offspring, however, continue to develop despite her complete lack interest or presence of a childcare strategy at the time of their premeditated conception through delivery.

As a property, Nadya and her wards offer story potential limited only by the creativity of  handlers  responsible for the care, nurturing, education and upbringing of  the Suleman family.  With imagination, clever management,  strategic product placement and a little luck, this one family could occupy America’s collective consciousness for decades–keeping us from worrying about anything meaningful!  I can’t wait to see what happens  next or what doesn’t happen.

In the hope that Fox News might pick this  up, I didn’t bother to read the article, confirm anything or search for any additional details.  Nevertheless,  I have no doubt that every detail will be carefully released on a schedule designed to distract us from what’s actually happening around us.

  1. Good stuff Paul. Still a big fan of your stuff. I wrote Cathy and told her not to give up on her site. That really bummed me out that she was throwing in the towel. I hope all is well with you and yours. I also hope that you don’t simply delete this without reading it.

    There was a time and a day when people with differing opinions could still manage to get along.

    Best Regards;

    I never cared much for the Hummer. No matter how you dress it up, it’s still just a big box on wheels. Well, Hummer now belongs to the Chinese (bet you didn’t see that coming).

    GM management has made a lot of bad decisions over the years. Unfortunately, it’s the little guy that has to pay the price. I’m sure that the executives will walk away with millions…as they always do. The hourly and lower salaried workers will get nothing, not to mention the small businesses that support GM. I hope that the bankruptcy will prove to be beneficial for everyone. No matter what happens, I will always buy American.

    If this sounds like I’m venting, what did you expect.

    You can bet the imports will be offering some deals that are off the hook. The sharks are circling and there’s blood in the water.

    I’ve bought American for years, but back when I was first married we bought imports and they were SO much better.

    Since then, I bought American out of loyalty bur the cars just aren’t as good. We say they are and they’re better than they were in the 80s, but Detroit went apeshit over quality in the `90s and it was mostly PR. I’m still driving American and I can tell you, the imports are still better. My Town and Country LXI started rusting out while still under warranty.

    You never see rust on a 3 year-old Volvo, Honda, Bimmer or even a Hyundai!

    Detroit has always been more mouth than motion.
