Tal Wilkenfeld – The River of Life

I’ve been sleeping under a rock.  I so enjoyed HBO’s  Rock and Roll Hall of Fame Anniversary show that I watched it several times.  One of the reasons was Jeff Beck’s performances, which featured an exceptionally talented bassist,  Tal Wilkenfeld.  Now as much as I love Jeff Beck, I haven’t listened to his recent stuff.  So I was surprised and delighted to see Tal for the first time.  Since then, I’ve watched and heard many other performances in which she just melts the neck off her guitar.

I don’t know much about her but intend to find out.  This is from her first album, “Transformation”.  It as well as other clips of her with and without Beck posted on YouTube are stellar.
