NWO is Back
I’ve been letting New World Odor float in the ether for some time now, waiting for a good reason to return. In my last ADD med consult, my physician asked if I’d blogged lately and I admitted that I’d not. … Continue reading

I’m Only Sleeping (Thank You!)
I sincerely thank those of you who put up with my wildly fluctuating productivity and even deeper thanks to those among you who comment. You make doing this worthwhile. I mention this not as a prelude to “deep-sixing” NWO, since I have no intention of doing anything of the sort. Continue reading
Sarah Palin For President: Here’s Why
A friend sent me this over a week ago and I just sifted through enough of my “in box” to find it. From Huffington Post, it appeared under the title : “Palin Supporters Struggle To Explain Why They Support Palin,” … Continue reading

Media Grouses About Obama Press Access
I saw an article in the New York Times grousing about Barack Obama’s alleged exercise undue control over the media by having “four times” the number of Press Conferences than his nearest Dem precursor, Bill Clinton (equating to FAR less than his immediate predecessor, King George). In doing so, according to the Times, Mr. Obama repeats complaints, about the “news cycle”. Ryan Montbleau: “75 and Sunny”
Ryan Montbeau came as a total surprise to us. We Googled him and found hid web site, which is great. He’s one of those rare musician/writer/singer who can be as entertaining alone as when he’s accompanied by other talented players. We saw him solo and were amazed. He’s not flashy but his voice and guitar playing are expressive, dexterous and remarkable; his lyrics are poetry. Continue reading
If I Ever Actually Read a Blog Entitled “Ramblings,” Shoot Me
Since I’ve been hacking away at this seemingly purposeless activity we’ve come to know as “blogging,” I’ve come across thousands, perhaps tens of thousands of blogs, many of which I skim to see if they have any features I think … Continue reading
Friday Night Concert Clip: Seal’s “Kissed by a Rose”
My wife and I had the pleasure of seeing Seal live in an old, restored theater when he had just “broken through”. It was much different than this but like this, his performance that night shares a silky precision, superb … Continue reading
